Automating Microsoft Access with VBA

We designed the case studies in this book around a sample database named TimeTrack. TimeTrack starts the book as a very simple database with no automation. It keeps track of consulting projects, employees, and hours worked for a variety of customers. You can read more about the basic structure of the database in Chapter 1.

Each chapter's sample code is added to the TimeTrack database to produce a new version. For example, TimeTrack5.mdb contains all the code from the first five chapters of the book. By the time you reach the end of the book, we hope you'll have some appreciation of what VBA automation can do for a database.
