Arranging and Closing Windows

Acrobat provides shortcuts for cascading and tiling open windows, closing all windows, toggling full-screen view on and off, and moving quickly from one document to another.

Keyboard Shortcuts for Arranging and Closing Windows

Windows [Ctrl]-[Shift]-[J], Mac [ z ]-[Shift]-[J]

Cascade all open windows

Windows [Ctrl]-[Shift]-[K], Mac [ z ]-[Shift]-[K]

Tile the open windows horizontally

Windows [Ctrl]-[Shift]-[L], Mac [ z ]-[Shift]-[L]

Tile the open windows vertically

Windows [Ctrl]-[Shift]-[W], Mac [ z ]-[Shift]-[W]

Close all windows

Windows [Ctrl]-[L], Mac [ z ]-[L]

Toggle full-screen view on and off

To turn full-screen view off, you can also press [Esc] on either Windows or the Mac.

Windows [Ctrl]-[F6], Mac [ z ]-[Shift]-[~]

Activate the next document

This shortcut works only when the focus is on the Document pane.
