Windows XP and Office 2003 Keyboard Shortcuts

Windows lets you easily capture either the full screen or the active window as a graphic. The capture operation places the screen or window on the Clipboard. You can then paste it into an Office document or a graphics application.

Shortcuts for Capturing the Screen

Copy the screen to the Windows Clipboard as a picture

[Print{Screen]

Copy the active window to the Clipboard as a picture

[Alt] - [Print{Screen]

Pressing [Alt] - [Print{Screen] copies just the active window, rather than the entire screen, to the Office Clipboard.
