Word 2007[c] The Missing Manual
17.3. Personalizing Word Options
An often-overlooked step in customizing Word is personalizing your copy. If you give Word your name and initials in the Word Options dialog box, the program " knows " who's typing. Your name is most important when you're collaborating with your colleagues using Word's reviewing features (Chapter 16). When you review, edit, and add comments to a document, Word tags your markup with either your name or your initials . Word may have added your name and initials when you installed the program.
