In this chapter, you learned about all the steps necessary to set up SAP BW on a UNIX/Oracle8 platform. This consists of installing several SAP BW basic components, followed by SAP BW administrator and client software. Once that is done and verified, you install SAP BW business content and extractors. Test RFC connections between SAP R/3 and SAP BW. This prepares SAP BW and SAP R/3 for the next step: loading SAP BW business content.
