This chapter covered the SAP BW data access and reporting environment. The BEX Analyzer provides a good data analysis environment, and the BEX Browser publishes information across the enterprise in a very organized fashion. This chapter provided you with a solid understanding of how to present and analyze data in many different ways. You also saw how to define queries and format data in a way that is most useful to you.

This chapter was dedicated to accessing data from SAP BW; it did not cover how to access data from SAP BW third-party tools. Chapter 14 discusses how to access data from SAP BW using ODBO third-party integration with SAP BW.
