Let's say you've got a bunch of names in a spreadsheet and you want to send a letter to each of them, addressed personally to them, something like "Dearest yournamehere , please give me a job." It's easy to do.

  1. Just set up the spreadsheet as a data source. See Creating a Data Source for a Spreadsheet on page 884.

  2. Then make your document. Follow the instructions in one of the following: Creating a Letter Using the Letter AutoPilot on page 368 or Dragging Data Source Fields Into a Document on page 379.

  3. Then print that sucker using the specific printing instructions outlined in Printing or Emailing Mail Merge Documents on page 399.
