There are two types of keys: asymmetric keys and symmetric keys. An asymmetric key is a key pair consisting of a public and private key. The public key is generated from the private key and, therefore, there is a one-to-one association between these keys. The generated public key only decrypts the ciphertext generated from the private key. A symmetric key is a secret key used for both encryption and decryption. In most cases it is a randomly generated prime number. Категории | |||||||||||||||||||
