IIS 6: The Complete Reference

When a web server is first installed, ASP is turned off as part of Microsoft’s “Off By Default” mentality. Therefore, we’re going to need to enable ASP for our web server.

1. In the IIS MMC, click Web Service Extensions to expand the folder.

2. Highlight Active Server Pages, and then click Allow.

Simple enough. Now ASP is enabled for all the web sites on this server.
