Choose Edit > Spelling > Select Dictionaries (Figure 6.3).

In the dialog box that appears, click New (Figure 6.4). When the Create a new User Dictionary dialog box appears, navigate to ...\FileMaker Pro 8\Extensions\Dictionaries\ and type in an easy-to-remember name for your new dictionary, such as Medical for a special medical dictionary (Figure 6.5). Once you're done, click Create.

When the Select Dictionaries dialog box reappears, the just-created special dictionary will be activated, along with the main dictionary (Figure 6.6). Click OK to close the dialog box.
