Because CSS control was so awkward in earlier versions of Dreamweaver, it was common practice to use the Properties inspector to style single HTML tags within every page you built. That approach promoted spontaneity, but it also tended to generate a sprawl of unrelated single-page styles. If, instead, you use the CSS Styles tab, you can create a more powerful site-wide system. Now that we've attached style sheets to our pages, it's easy to add more CSS rules that can be used on any page. |
