Programming Active Server Pages (Microsoft Programming Series)

Step 1

From the Start menu, start MTS Explorer. In Explorer, choose My Computer and Packages Installed.

Add a new package to MTS by choosing New from the File menu. In the Package wizard, install a new empty package. Name the new package MTS NorthWind Exercise, and click Next.

Set the package identity to Interactive User, and click Finish.

Step 2

Double-click your new package to reveal the Components folder, and then double-click the Components folder itself. Choose New from the File menu to add a new component to your package. In the Component wizard, choose to import a component that is already registered.

Locate the component MTSObject.Query, select it, and click Finish. Your component is now registered and under the control of Microsoft Transaction Server.
