Chapter 18. Working with Paper
If you ever have the opportunity to go to the Ontario Science Center in Toronto, Canada, you can enjoy a demonstration on how to make your own paper. The process involves quite a few steps, starting with tearing strips of existing paper and soaking them in water for a period of time. You then place the paper strips on a screen, wait for them to dry, and with any luck you'll have some paper. The process is labor- intensive , messy, and requires some time and a certain degree of expertise. Lucky for you, creating your own paper in Painter is much easier and can be done without the messy clean-up required for traditional papermaking. In this chapter you'll learn how to:
Select different paper textures
Adjust paper properties
Create paper
