Using the Graphic Editor, you can quickly move notes to any location within the track. When you move a note up or down in the Editor, you are actually changing the pitch, while moving it left or right will change its location.

NOTE

Pressing and holding the Shift key while moving a note will constrain its motion to either up or down. This will prevent you from inadvertently moving a note when you are trying to create a pitch change.
