The onbeforecopy Event

The onbeforecopy event occurs before a selection is copied to the system clipboard (as with the browser's Edit Copy menu item, or by pressing Ctrl+C in Windows). You can find the support for this event in Table 6.56.

Unlike similar events such as onbeforecut , this event does not occur for form input elements.
