The XMLDOMNamedNodeMap Object

The Microsoft XML DOM also supports an XMLDOMNamedNodeMap object, which provides support for namespaces. Here is the base set of properties for this object:

  • item Allows random access to nodes in the collection. Read-only.

  • length Specifies the number of items in the collection. Read-only.

Here is the base set of methods for this object:

  • getNamedItem Gets the attribute with the given name

  • getQualifiedItem * Gets the attribute with the given namespace and attribute name

  • nextNode Gets the next node

  • removeNamedItem Removes an attribute

  • removeQualifiedItem Removes the attribute with the given namespace and attribute name

  • reset Resets the list iterator

  • setNamedItem Adds the given node

This object has no events.
