Overview

After you've selected part of the image, the fun begins. You can then start manipulating the selection to change the appearance of the image or share information between image files. This chapter introduces you to the basic changes you can make after you've selected part of the information on a layer in the image. (Chapter 8, "Working with Layers," explains how to layer information.) In this chapter, you'll learn how to:

• Delete, move, or copy what you've selected

• Change a selection by transforming or rotating it
