If you have a relatively large number of entries in your address book, it may become difficult to find particular records. For this reason, the address book has a built-in search function that enables you to quickly find the person you are looking for.

1. Click on the address book that you would like to search in the Address Books pane.

2. Click once in the Name or Email contains text box . Your cursor will flash in the box.

3. Begin typing the name or e-mail of the person you are searching for. As you type, entries that match the criteria will be displayed in the bottom half of the window.
