In OpenOffice.org Writer, you learned to do the following:

• Enter and edit text using your pointing device and the Writer text cursor

• Select blocks of text to move them around or copy them within a document

• Alter the appearance, size, or style of existing text or newly entered text

• Change the alignment of text paragraphs to left alignment, right alignment, center alignment, or full justification

• Change the margins, indentation, and spacing properties of paragraphs within your document

You also learned some housekeeping tasks, including how to save your work, load existing files, and print the documents you create.
