Working with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System (Pro-Developer)
Appendix C
Codenames
As Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Team System was being developed, it was full of codenames. Most of these have since disappeared, so I have provided a list in this appendix. Microsoft employees and true geeks tend to refer to products by codename internally, up until the time the products are released to manufacturing. You might still see them from time to time, in magazine articles, Web sites, or blog postings.
