| In this project you've picked up some intermediate layout skills and worked with some new InDesign features. Most importantly, you've constructed a common and often requested type of publication, the catalogue. Here are some important concepts to keep in mind: Make sure your organizational structure is easy to navigate. Construct designs with a template in minduse multiple masters, styles, and swatches. Be mindful of how often the piece will be produced and structure the layout as cost effectively as possible. Keep an eye on the future when it comes to editing and revisions, and take advantage of features such as anchored objects and libraries. Finally, use blending modes and transparency options that can add a lot of impact without a lot of overhead.
