When you create a closed drawing object such as a square, it uses two colors from the color scheme: the Fill color and the Line color. When you create a line drawing object, it uses the color scheme Line color. You can change the Fill and Line color settings for drawing objects using the same color tools for changing a slide's background or text color. An easy way to apply the current fill color to any object is to select the object and then click the Fill Color button. Change a Drawing Object's Fill Color -

| Select the fill color you want. | -
| Click Fill Effects if you want to change the fill effect too. | Remove a Fill -
| Click the drawing object whose fill you want to change. | -

Create a Fill Pattern -
| Click the drawing object whose fill you want to change. | -
| Click the Fill Color button list arrow, and then click Fill Effects. | -
Click the Gradient tab to select a gradient color and shading style. -
Click the Texture tab to select a texture. -
Click the Pattern tab to select a pattern, foreground,and background color. -
Click the Picture tab to select a picture. -

Did You Know? You can set the color and line style for an object as the default . Right-click the object, and then click Set AutoShape Defaults. Any new objects you create will use the same styles. | |
