| If a program stops responding while you work, Windows provides you with the option to end the task. When you end a task, you'll probably lose any unsaved work in the problem program. If the problem persists, you might need to reinstall the program or contact product support to fix the problem. End a Task Not Responding -
Right-click the taskbar, and then click Task Manager. If Windows doesn't respond when you right-click, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click Task Manager. -
