| Windows keeps a list of your most recently used files, folders, and network computers in the History folder. Instead of navigating through a long list of folders to open a recently used file, you can use the History list to find it quickly. The History list works exactly like the one in a web browser. You can view the History Explorer bar in several ways: by date, by site, by most visited, and by order visited today. Find a File from the History List -

In the History Explorer bar, click the Search button, type a keyword, and then click Search Now. You can resize the Explorer bar .
