Select the text box with the text you want to connect with another text box.

Click the Text Box button on the Drawing toolbar.

Drag where you want the empty text box to appear.

Select the first text box with text.

Click the Create Text Box Link button on the Text Box toolbar. The cursor changes into the pitcher pointer.

Click the second empty text box to create a link. Any overflow text from the first text appears in the second text box.

Click anywhere outside the canvas to deselect the text boxes.

Did You Know?

You can move between linked text boxes . Click the Next Text Box button or the Previous Text Box button on the Text Box toolbar.

You can break a link between two text boxes . Select the text box to which you want to break the link, and then click the Break Forward Link button on the Text Box toolbar.
