Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 On Demand

The English Assistant (New!) is a Microsoft Office Online service that helps people, for whom English is a second language, write professional English text. The English Assistant provides tools for spelling, explanation, and usage. It also provides suggestions for synonyms and collocations (the association between two words that are typically or frequently used together), and related example sentences.

Use the English Assistant

Click the Review tab.

Click the Research button.

Click the All Reference Books list arrow, and then English Assistant (PRC) or English Assistant (Japan).

If the English assistances are not available, click Research options, select the assistances you want, and then click OK.

Type the word or phrase in the Search for box, and then click the Start Searching button (green arrow).

Point to the information in the Research task pane that you want to copy.

Click the list arrow, and then click Copy.

Paste the information into your presentation.

When you're done, click the Close button on the task pane.
