A Groove workspace is a special site template that provides you with tools to share and update documents and to keep people informed about the current status of the documents. After you create a workspace, you can use Files and Discussion Tools to share files, exchange messages, and collaborate with a team. In a Groove workspace, you can point to the Files or Discussion tab to display the contacts currently using a tool. Create a Workspace In the Launchbar, click the File menu, point to New, and then click Workspace. Click a workspace option: Standard. Select to display the Groove Workspace Explorer and initially include the Files and Discussion Tools. File Sharing. Select to share the contents of a folder in your Windows system. Template. Select to display the Groove Workspace Explorer with the selected tools you want. Click Browse to visit a Groove Web site, where you can download templates. Type a new name for the workspace. Click OK. The new workspace opens in another window. Did You Know? You can delete a workspace. In the workspace, click the File menu, point to Delete Workspace, and then click From This Computer or For All Members. You can save a workspace as a template or back it up.
