Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 On Demand

The Developer tab (New!) is a specialized Ribbon that you can use to access developer controls, write code, or create macros. You can set an option in the Popular section of PowerPoint options to show or hide the Developer tab. As a developer, you can also set an option to show errors in your user interface customization code.

Set Developer Options

Click the Office button, and then click PowerPoint Options.

In the left pane, click Popular.

Select the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon check box.

In the left pane, click Advanced.

Select the Show add-in user interface errors check box.

Click OK.
