Avid Xpress Pro provides several options when you want to customize the software to fit into your workflow. Take the time to first learn about all the options and then start to apply them as you work on the system.

There are three types of settings: Site, Project, and User .

To duplicate a setting, select the setting and choose Duplicate from the Edit menu.

Avid Xpress Pro can mix audio sample rates in a sequence but they'll need to be converted before sending your sequence back to tape.

General settings allow you to change the starting timecode of a sequence.

The Media Creation settings allow you to preset how material will be introduced into Avid Xpress Pro.

Interface has several preset settings.

The Command Palette must be opened to map buttons and menus .

Your user settings can be saved to disk so that you can move from one machine to another.
