• There are two methods for saving your work on Avid Xpress Proan explicit save that you trigger and an auto-save, which Avid Xpress Pro triggers.

• If the Project window is highlighted when you perform a save, all the bins , project settings, and user settings are saved.

• Always try to back up your Avid work on either a floppy disk, Zip disk, or CD.

• It's also a good habit to back up graphic folders on the same disk you saved your Avid work.

• The Bin Settings dialog box is where you can set the amount of time that is passed before an auto-save is triggered.

• A forced auto-save will perform a save regardless of what function you're in the middle of.

• Avid's Attic contains back-up versions of projects and bins.

• Don't forget to clean out the Attic when you're done with a project.
