Microsoft is a technology innovator in Web Services using its Visual Studio .NET product suite. Visual Studio .NET products have a considerable number of developers in the market for Web Services. Figure B-7 shows its global Web Services architecture. With IBM and VeriSign, it has jointly published Web Services roadmap specifications.
