Maya 4.5 Fundamentals

  • Adding shaders with Hypershade You learned how to import shaders and apply them to objects in your scene to add texture.

  • Using IPR rendering Your ability to texture and light a scene in Maya is augmented by real-time previewing, which gives you instant updates of changes you make in your scene.

  • Rendering You have seen how to set up a scene for final rendering and use Maya's FCheck utility to view the render.

It's always a good idea to stay organized as you work ” name the things you create; group objects, lights, and other scene elements when it makes sense; and so forth.
