MPS Construction
-
While link-state routing protocols do offer more scalability, MPS really does have a relatively small network and thus most of the problems with distance-vector routing protocols would not apply. They could choose either distance-vector or link-state protocols.

Assuming that MPS is comfortable running a Cisco proprietary protocol, IGRP would be a good choice for MPS Construction. It recognizes metrics beyond hop count and will easily handle MPS Construction’s needs.
