Chapter 5.  The Project Task List

The affinity diagram exercise is beneficial to the project beyond its intended purpose. By learning whose work supports their work, each team member can develop a sense of "where I fit in the project" and "how I can support downstream tasks." This provides a basis for "internal customer" relations among team members for the duration of the project and also builds strong team ties.

Following the affinity diagram meeting, team members must allow themselves enough time to review the task list before scheduling the next project task list meeting(s). They must not let this process drag, however.
