Mastering Microsoft Project 2002

Overview

No project takes place in a vacuum. There are reports to produce, presentations to give, budgets to create, and, inevitably, status reports to prepare. In Chapter 14, you learned how to share information among projects. In this chapter, you will share Microsoft Project data with other applications, as well as enrich your projects by adding objects such as charts, graphics, and video.

We’ll start by explaining how to import data into Project from several different applications, using Project 2002’s new Import Wizard. You’ll explore the differences between linking and embedding objects in Project, and learn about cutting and pasting.
