Overview

Microsoft Project Web Access is the web-based component of Microsoft Project Server. With Web Access installed, anyone in your organization can access data about your Microsoft Project enterprise projects. All they need is a web browser (Internet Explorer works fine), access to the Project Server computer (over the network, presumably), a Client Access License (CAL), and a user account created by your Project Server administrator. By providing access to project data through any web browser, Web Access extends project management organizationally even to users who do not have Microsoft Project installed on their desktops.
