We have covered a lot of information in this chapter, everything from the basics of XML through XPath, XSLT, the DOM, ColdFusion XML functionality, and WDDX. Many of the topics covered in this chapter require whole books to do them justice. To become an XML guru, you will need to put in more time than just reading these chapters, but you should now have the foundation and basic understanding to solve most XML-related tasks or problems you might encounter when developing applications in ColdFusion.

In the next chapter, we are going to look at one of the newest and most exciting features of ColdFusion MX web services.
