Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 in a Snap
32. Open Photos in PhotoSuite
The first vital step in editing your photos is being able to open PhotoSuite and import photos to edit. PhotoSuite has a handy Open Files window at the bottom of the screen that showcases thumbnails of all the photos you have imported into PhotoSuite. The Open Files window makes it convenient to choose the photo you would like to edit, but keeps them out of the way when you are not editing them. This makes it very convenient to edit your pictures as you get them back from the developer or as you are importing them from your camera. If you sit down for a few minutes each time in PhotoSuite, your pictures are all edited as you archive them into your computer. Open Photos in PhotoSuite
From within the Easy Media Creator project pane, select Photo to open up the Photo menu.
After you have opened the Photo menu, select Fix & Enhance to launch the PhotoSuite application.
After PhotoSuite has launched, click on the Open Photo button in the tasks pane to open Media Manager.
When Media Manager has opened, browse for the photo or photos you would like to edit. You can select more than one by holding down the Control key while you select them.
After you have selected the photos you would like to edit, click Open to place them into the Open Files window inside of PhotoSuite. From this Open Files window, you can choose any photo and bring it up inside the Canvas window. Here you can make all the desired changes and save the photo.
If you would like to import your photos directly from a digital camera, other removable device, or even a scanner, click Import from Camera in the Open/Create menu to bring up the Photo Import Wizard. Refer to Chapter 5, "Importing Photos," for detailed instructions on how to use the Photo Import Wizard. After you have completed the import, your photos appear in the Open Files window inside of PhotoSuite. |
