Chapter 13. Make and Promote Your Own CDs
Why wait for a record deal? Do it yourself. Here are tutorials on making your own CDs. Also, advice on getting the world to notice.
Once you've spent a zillion hours writing, rehearsing, and committing your art to tape or hard drive and then mastering, you'll probably want to duplicate a whole mess o' copies and get your blood, sweat, and bytes out to the world. You'll need to create a CD master to do this.
You'll need a good CD burner . They ship built in to almost all new computers now. If you don't have one, go buy one at Fry's, Circuit City, or some place like that, or online.
