Now that you have created your Self-Disclosure and Feedback Profile, what does it mean? The assessment measures three components of the attribute Self-Disclosure and Feedback: the Arena, the Blind Spot, and the Facade.

Self-Disclosure and Feedback Profile

Directions:

  1. Enter the three subtotals (Arena, Blind Spot, and Facade) from page 143 in the spaces indicated just above the chart below. The highest possible score for each subtotal is 15.

  2. Start with your Arena subtotal. Count diagonally from the upper left-hand corner of the grid at 0 to the lower right and mark your Arena subtotal on the diagonal line.

  3. Mark your Blind Spot subtotal on the horizontal line across the top of the grid, counting left to right from 0 in the upper left-hand corner.

  4. Mark your Facade subtotal on the vertical line on the left side of the grid, counting top to bottom from 0 in the upper left-hand corner.

  5. Create your profile by connecting the three marks. Starting with the Blind Spot mark on the line at the top of the grid, draw a line to the Arena mark on the diagonal line, then over to the Facade mark on the line to the left.
