Cisco Secure Access Control Server (CSACS) is the Cisco AAA server that provides almost all the features that are provided by the tools mentioned in this chapter. Additionally, CSACS provides the following functionality:

• Runs on both Windows and Solaris

• Supports both RADIUS and TACACS+ protocols

• Is fully administered through a user-friendly and intuitive web browser-based GUI

• Provides native support for most Cisco devices
