This chapter covers networking information needed to pass the Part II test. First, the chapter starts with networking concepts. These concepts are not unique to Solaris, but you need to understand them before moving on to more advanced topics. After reading about networking concepts, you'll learn about how Solaris needs to be configured to participate on the network.
