14.5. Aligning and Justifying Text

Figure 14-14 shows four more safe-to-click buttons on the Property Inspector. These control the alignment and justification setting of the currently selected text. So, to align a particular paragraph to the right side of its area, first click anywhere inside the paragraph in the document window, then go to the Property Inspector and click the Align Right button. Likewise, to center a heading or a title paragraph, select the element and click Align Center.

In justified text, the browser pads the lines of type with space so that they're all the same length, except for the last line in a paragraph, as shown in Figure 14-15. This effect doesn't play as well on the Web as it does in print, so be wary of using it.
