Routing TCP[s]IP (Vol. 11998)

When comparing EIGRP and OSPF, it is often said that an advantage of EIGRP is that it is simpler to configure. This observation is true for many internetworks, but this chapter's discussion of troubleshooting shows that as an internetwork grows, efforts must be made to "compartmentalize" the EIGRP topology. Ironically, the very complexity of OSPF may make it easier to configure in large internetworks, as the next chapter shows.
