The network setup in Figure 2.8 is very close to the simple wireless home network that a great many people are now using in their homes and small offices. It's a true Ethernet system from one end to the other. However, one very important thing is still missing from Figure 2.8: The Internet. The switch and the wireless access point alone can't deal with an Internet connection. We'll need to add a little additional machinery for that, which is what I'll be describing in Chapter 3.
