Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Killer Tips

Often you have images created in Photoshop or Fireworks that have alpha channels (transparency) and you'd like to keep that when you bring them into Flash. Not a problem. Just make sure that you bring them in using File > Import and that they are a type that Flash imports. Some of the most common are PNG-24, GIF, PICT, and TIFF. Using any of these formats will enable you to keep that transparent background while incorporating it with your Flash artwork.
