With the Bandwidth Profiler, you can determine how long it will take users with modems to load your movie. In the Profiler you can simulate how long it will take a user to see your movie using different modem or cable speeds. To use the Bandwidth Profiler, follow these steps:

1. Open the  ecard2_squawk.fla file from the chapter30_exercise folder.

2. Choose Control ® Test Movie.

3. Choose View ® Bandwidth Profiler (Figure 30-4).

4. From the Debug menu, choose the modem speed or custom speed you defined to simulate.

5. Go to View ® Show Streaming. You see a simulation of the time it will take for your movie to load.
