To install the items from the CD to your hard drive, follow these steps:

  1. Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive.

  2. Double-click the icon for the CD after it appears on the desktop.

  3. Most programs come with installers; for those, open the program's folder on the CD and double-click the Install or Installer icon. (To install some programs, drag the program's folder from the CD window and drop it on your hard drive icon.)
