20.8 Internet Express

Since we're in a networking kind of mood, we figured we should mention a useful package of network administration tools that you may want to explore. Most of these utilities have been modified to work in a cluster. The following is an excerpt from Compaq/HP's product description:

“Internet Express is a collection of popular open source Internet software and administration software developed by Compaq/HP. Customers are encouraged to purchase a service contract for Internet Express that entitles them to receive upgrades to Internet Express, which is released approximately every four months.

The Internet Express product provides the following features and benefits:

• A collection of open source Internet software (binaries and sources), tested and qualified on Tru64 UNIX

• Automatic installation and configuration of Internet software

• Web-based Internet Express Administration utility to manage Internet services and tune kernel attributes for Internet service performance
