5.2 Important Documents for Tru64 UNIX and TruCluster Server

Before starting the installation of Tru64 UNIX to support a deployment of TruCluster Server, we recommend that you always review the following documents for the version of Tru64 UNIX and TruCluster Server you plan to install:

• Tru64 UNIX Release Notes.

• TruCluster Server Release Notes.

• Tru64 UNIX Installation guide.

• TruCluster Server Cluster Installation guide.

• TruCluster Server Cluster Administration guide.

• Tru64 UNIX QuickSpecs (or Software Product Description prior to version 5.1A)

• TruCluster Server QuickSpecs (or Software Product Description prior to version 5.1A)

Please pay particular attention to the installation and hardware sections of these documents. The Release Notes are designed to provide important information about changes to the software, firmware, and hardware in addition to late breaking software bugs, "workarounds", and typos to the documentation that are not covered in the standard Tru64 UNIX documentation set.
